WHO IS

 

THEHERO is a solo artist from Northampton, England formed in 2021.

 

At the height of the pandemic, Oli Law began producing home demos of new original material which spiralled into a guitar driven rock persona known as THEHERO. Armed with a home-made electric guitar and a battalion of killer tracks written about introverted emotions and coming of age experiences, THEHERO aims high to bring the next evolution of rock, beginning with the debut release: Black Heart Woman - recorded over 2 days with the electrifying Ben Farestvedt of Damage Audio.

The most recent release: 'Snakebite' earned the honorary title of Track of the Week on BBC Radio Northampton on Kerrie Cosh's Introducing Show after debuting on the Introducing Rock Show with Alyx Holcombe on BBC Radio 1.

 

'I like to think my songs are anthems for the introverted. Battles that I’ve fought in my own head and lost in the real world. The music is almost redemption and therapy for things that I’ve felt and never truly come to terms with, wrapped up in a confident identity I wish I always had. In essence THEHERO is who takes over when I need him most'.
